Community Grants 20-21 - 2nd Call Open Now - CURRENTLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Community Development and Festivals Grants for the period 1 April 2020 – 31 March 2021 are now open for a 2nd call .  Applications will close on Friday 27 March 2020 at 4pm.

Community Small Grants 20-21 - OPEN

Small Seeding and/or Insurance and Small Activity and/or Insurance Grants for 1 April 2020 - 31 March 2021 are now open for applications on a rolling basis.

If your organisation is applying for a grant, particularly for the first time, you should contact a member of the Community Development Team on 028 90340061 / 028 90340024.

Please note you should apply a minimum of 8 weeks before your event / insurance renewal date.

Good Relations - 2020 - 2021

Good Relations Grant Aid 2020/2021 is now open for applications, subject to funding.  All activity funded must be complaint with current government measures and guidance in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leisure Grants Programme 20/21 - CURRENTLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Due to the current circumstances with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic we are postponing the opening of our leisure grants which were due to open on 1st April. An  update will be provided in due course.

Every Body Active (EBA) Small Grants Saturday, 31/08/2019 @ 23:59 The Every Body Active Grant is available to local organisations that can both promote and participation in physical activity and its development within the Borough. Council will consider up to 100% funding of total eligible costs up to a maximum of £1,000 To be eligible for this Grant your project must meet the following criteria: a) Project must take place within the Borough. b) Grants will be open to online applications from: Not for profit, Community and Voluntary Organisations who are delivering activities aligned to the established outcomes of the Council’s Community plan; Sports Clubs; Parent and Teacher organisations. c) Activities planned and delivered must be a recognised Sport NI sport or physical activity. d) Beneficiaries must be residents in N.I. e) Applications must be submitted online Project priorities: Priority will be given to project which aims to increase participation among traditionally underrepresented groups which include: o Women & girls o People with a disability
Capital Grants for Sports Clubs Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Capital Grants are available to local Sports Clubs that apply for funding for the development of new facilities or the enhancement of existing facilities that meet evidenced based need. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Sports Events Grant Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Events Grant category is open to applications from Governing Bodies and Sports Clubs for events that can both promote and enhance sport and its development within the Borough and also bring real economic benefits and raise the profile of the Borough and/or facilities. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Defibrillator Grant Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Defibrillator Grant category is available for local Sports Clubs/Community groups who wish to apply for funding towards the purchase of a defibirillator and associated security casing where applicable. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Fitness Suite Gold Card Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 Successful applications to this scheme will be entitled to 12 months MORE Membership allowing fitness suite, pool and health suite use at council Leisure centres within the Borough. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Grant to Clubs Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Grant to Clubs category is available to support Sports Clubs who can clearly demonstrate their potential perform at a high level within their respective sports or who aspire to develop within their sport. There are three strands available: 1. Education and Competition: (up to £1,000) 2. Specialist Equipment with a lifespan exceeding 5 years: (up to £7,500)* 3. Facility improvement: for applicants that wish to improve performance and increase participation levels or capacity through minor improvements to facilities. (up to £10,000)* 4. Applications to strands 2 or 3 will only be accepted from a club every 2 years. 5. Applicants can apply annually under strand 1. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Grants to Coaches and Officials Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Grant to Coaches & Officials category is available to support aspiring Coaches who can demonstrate potential to coach or officiate at a higher level in their own sport and develop aspiring elite athletes/ teams. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
Grants to Athletes Saturday, 30/11/2019 @ 23:59 The Grant to Athletes category is available to Elite and aspiring high performers who can demonstrate that they are competing (or have the potential to compete) at the highest level in their sport. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions for all Leisure Grants.
